Bank's 2007 award

Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd has launched the "A Legend of the Future - China's Leading Enterprises of Tomorrow" Award 2007 to try and get more involved in the small- and medium-size company business in China.

The award supports China's "SME Growth Project" to promote the growth and development of the country's SMEs in a constructive and professional manner. First kicked off in 2006, the award highlights the importance of SMEs in China's economic and social development. It has generated greater awareness of SMEs to a wider community, which in turn established a favorable environment for SMEs to grow.
